National Capacity Building Conference - Sharing GEFEO Experience

The Global Environment Facility Evaluation Office (GEFEO) will be present in Sao Paolo at the end of September 2013 to share its experience in developing national evaluation capacity around the world. In addition to robust work of the Country Portfolio Evaluation (CPE) team to empower local evaluation groups by engaging local evaluators for variety of evaluation tasks, the GEFEO has partnered over the years with national and regional evaluation organizations not only to raise the standards of evaluation but to also improve evaluation capacity. This experience will be shared with more than 150 participants are expected at the 3rd international conference organized jointly by the United Nations Development Program Evaluation Office and the Brazilian National Secretariat of Evaluation and Information Management of the Ministry of Social Development and Fight Against Hunger (MSD)
