2nd Asia Pacific Evaluation Association Conference 2019
The theme of The 2nd Asia Pacific Evaluation Association (APEA) international conference will be on Reducing poverty-enabling peace: Evaluation for accountability, transparency and sustainable development. Pre-conferenec where held on February 25 and 26.
The Asia Pacific Evaluation Association (APEA) is a regional organization for evaluation in the Asia-Pacific that started in 2012. Its members have been increasing and now stand at 17, 15 of which are national VOPEs* (consisting of Afghanistan, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka and Vietnam) and 2 as associate members (Australasian Evaluation Society and Parliamentarian Forum of Development Evaluation - South Asia). It is officially registered in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. A number of development agencies, think tanks, financial intermediaries, and non-profit organizations continue to support APEA in its initiative of advancing the cause of evaluation in the Asia Pacific Region.
