Syria

The global environmental objective of this project is to assist the Syrian Arab Republic in its efforts to reduce the growth of GHG emissions that result from electric power generation and the inefficient consumption of carbon based fuels.

The project was developed to strengthen the capacity of the Syrian Arab Republic to implement and sustain long-term energy efficiency efforts that will have positive impacts on both global and local environments.
